This week we worked on our presentation task for the Mi Comunidad Nueva unit where we made a map and described it in Spanish. We also did our conversation task where we asked and answered questions with one of our classmates. In the convo task we talked about a map that our teacher gave us. For these tasks we were asked these questions: Where are you going, why are you going there, how are you going there, and where is a place located.

Week of Feb 8-12

This week in Spanish we started our conversation task where we talk to the teacher usually, but this time, we are talking to another student. Also, we started our presentation task about either the Wilmette area or a town that we made up. Thats all I have to say.
-Elizabeth S.

This week we are mostly doing our presentation task about locations in Wilmette or an area we made up. We say (in Spanish) where certain places are related to each other. Also, where we are going, how we are getting there, and where we are. It's really interesting!

This week

This week in Spanish class, we kept practicing how to use the prepositions to describe where someone/something is located. We did many fun activities, we drew a town by the descriptions in Spanish, and went different stations to practice.   ---Rachel Shen

For the past few weeks, we have been working on using forms of ESTAR and this week we learned how to make more detailed sentences. In our stations we learned about a new fun game on our iPads. It is a website where we can take quizzes as a small group or a full class. It is really fun! We also had a short quiz testing our knowledge on the forms of ESTAR. -Kaley Carpenter
